Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in the United Kingdom is seeking HGV drivers for a permanent, full-time role in Stoke-on-Trent. You will deliver goods safely and on time, with flexible shift patterns and a competitive pay rate of £36,892.78 per year.

Responsibilities include driving in a compliant and efficient manner, vehicle checks, manual handling, and multi-drop deliveries to stores and forecourts. Excellent safety standards and customer service are required.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 or 2 driving licence (C or CE) and Driver CPC.
• Digital Tachograph Card holders preferred; new passes welcome.
• Safe driving record with adherence to road rules and regs.

Shift patterns: Any 7 out of 14 (3 days one week and 4 the next (Saturday included in the 4 day shift)

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
• Regular completion of vehicle checks
• Manual handling of customer products
• Multi-drop deliveries 4-14 a day
• delivering food to stores and petrol forecourts

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 or 2 Driving Licence (C or C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• New passes welcome but previous experience would be advantageous
