Job summary

Talent Solutions Staffing UK is hiring a HGV Driver in the Northwich area. You will operate Class 1 (C+E) vehicles, deliver on schedule, and maintain high customer service standards in a permanent role within a growing food manufacturing business.

The role requires a valid Class 1 licence, CPC, and recent experience, plus a solid understanding of tachograph rules and driver hours. A modern fleet and ongoing training support are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• At least 2 years' Class 1 driving experience within the last 3 years.
• Current Driver CPC qualification.
• Good understanding of tachograph and driver hours regulations.

Responsibilities

• Drive Class 1 (C+E) vehicles safely, following planned routes and schedules.
• Deliver products accurately and on time while providing great customer service.
• Complete delivery paperwork and use digital systems as required.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
• Follow all transport regulations, including Drivers' Hours, WTD, tachograph, and load security requirements.

Salary: Upto £40,000

Shift Pattern: Days only - Monday to Friday / Average of 48 hours per week

Essential Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence.
