Job summary

Driver Hire Crewe is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our clients team at the Northwich depot. We offer day, night and tramper shifts with a focus on safety and reliability.

Applicants should have a valid Class 1 licence, CPC, 12 months driving experience and be comfortable using ratchet straps. We provide competitive rates, a modern fleet, and ongoing training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Minimum 12 months HGV Class 1 driving experience.
• Proficient with ratchet straps for securing loads.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Strong knowledge of road safety and traffic laws.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Job Description:

We are currently seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our clients team at their Northwich depot. We have positions available for day shifts, night shifts, and tramper drivers. Key Responsibilities:

• Safely transport goods to various destinations nationwide.
• Secure loads using ratchet straps.
• Ensure compliance with all driving regulations and company policies.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and report any issues.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections.

Assignment Rates (inc of holiday pay):

• Weekdays - Days: £16.25ph
• Weekdays - Nights: £17.37ph
• Saturdays: £17.37ph
• Sundays: £19.34ph
• Bank Holidays: £19.34ph

Requirements:

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) license.
