Job summary

E3 Recruitment is looking for an experienced HGV Class 1 Plant Driver for day shifts, Monday to Friday, to operate across the UK from Worcester. You will transport heavy plant and equipment to high-profile projects and ensure safety and efficiency in every delivery.

Role involves nationwide travel with accommodation covered if required, with long-term career prospects within a market-leading specialist in sports surface construction.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV licence with CPC.
• Experience operating HGV Low Loader/Flat Bed vehicles.
• Knowledge of loading, unloading and securing plant machinery.
• Understanding of road safety and transport regulations.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate an HGV Low Loader transporting machinery to sites across the UK.
• Load, unload and securely restrain a variety of large machines and equipment.
• Complete vehicle checks and maintain the vehicle to a high standard.
• Deliver equipment safely, efficiently and on schedule.
• Comply with road traffic laws and company health and safety procedures.
• Coordinate deliveries with site teams.
