Pod-Trak Ltd in Uxbridge is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Low Loader Driver to join our transport team. You will be responsible for safely transporting plant machinery and specialist equipment across the UK, with loading, securing, and unloading carried out to approved methods.

The role requires a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence, Driver CPC, and Tachograph card, plus a flexible approach to hours including weekends and occasional overnight stays.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Low Loader Driver to join our transport team based in Uxbridge. The role involves the safe transportation of plant machinery and specialist equipment throughout the UK.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate HGV Class 1 low loader vehicles safely and professionally.
• Transport plant and equipment nationwide.
• Load, secure, and unload machinery using approved methods.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Complete transport documentation accurately.
• Comply with driver hours, transport legislation, and company procedures.
• HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous low loader and plant transport experience.
• Good understanding of load security and transport regulations.
• Flexible approach to working hours.

Working Hours

This role requires a flexible approach to working hours in line with operational requirements.

Regular weekend working, early starts, late finishes, and occasional overnight stays will be required.
