Overview
Responsible for the safe, timely delivery of goods to customers and depots, ensuring compliance with road safety regulations and company procedures. The role involves vehicle checks, accurate paperwork completion, and maintaining excellent standards of professionalism and customer service while representing the logistics company.

Responsibilities
- Take reasonable care of the health and safety of yourself and others, observe best practice and comply with legislation, protect the environment and conserve energy.
- Submit and raise near miss, safety concerns, and unsafe acts observed while carrying out daily duties.
- Operate a van, rigid or artic in a safe and compliant manner, adhering to legislation and company policy and procedures.
- Operate in accordance with the Distribution Strategy of Safer, Greener & Leaner.
- Deliver and collect product to/from the end customer as required.
- Ensure all vehicles in your area of responsibility are safe, roadworthy, clean and presentable.
- Represent Kuehne + Nagel to customers and the general public with professionalism and maintain the company’s good repute.
- Scan all consignments on and off your vehicle and provide POD and POC using a handheld terminal.
- Complete duties in accordance with the Road Transport Distribution & company policies, procedures and processes.
Qualifications and Experience
- Valid Category B, C+E driving licence.
- Valid ADR Training Certificate (Categories 1-9, excluding 7 but accepting 7x packages) – preferred.
- Valid Forklift Counterbalance licence – preferred.
- In‑date Drivers CPC.
- Enthusiasm for the business and the importance of the role to the end customer.
- Respectful attitude and accountability for own actions.
- Customer delivery experience preferred.
- Previous or current association with the military may be advantageous.
