Job summary

Driver Hire Bournemouth & Salisbury is recruiting for regular, flexible work with well-established local businesses across Dorset and South Wiltshire. Join us for class 1 (C+E), class 2 (C) driving with ongoing local assignments and weekly pay.

New drivers can earn a £150 bonus after completing 40 shifts; Nights and Saturdays paid at £18.77–£20.17 per hour, with PAYE Advanced Holiday Pay included. Own transport preferred for easy access to sites.

Qualifications

• Valid UK HGV Licence (Class 1 C+E, Class 2 C or C1).
• Driver CPC certificate.
• Digital Tachograph Card required.
• At least 12 months’ HGV driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Trunking and multi-drop deliveries.
• Loading and unloading where required.
• Assignments vary by licence and experience, local work.

Pay Rates

The Work

Assignments vary depending on your licence and experience and may include:

• Class 1 (C+E), Class 2 (C) or 7.5 Tonne (C1) driving
• Trunking and multi-drop deliveries
• Loading and unloading where required

No two days are the same, giving you plenty of variety while keeping your work local.

What You’ll Need

• Valid UK HGV Licence (Class 1 C+E, Class 2 C or C1)
• Driver CPC
• Digital Tachograph Card
• At least 12 months’ HGV driving experience (recent or previous)
• Own transport to travel to and from assignments
• Maximum of 6 penalty points (no DR, DD or IN endorsements)
