Job summary

Best Time Ltd is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) and HGV Class 2 (Category C) drivers for clients across the South of England.

Opportunities include temporary, ongoing, ad hoc and temp-to-perm roles with flexible shifts, including day, afternoon and night. Weekly PAYE pay and immediate starts are on offer, with dedicated support from the team.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Licence held for a minimum of 1 year.
• Minimum 1 year's driving experience in the relevant licence category.
• Valid Driver CPC (DQC Card).
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Maximum of 6 penalty points.
• No DD, DR, CD, DG or TT endorsements.
• Professional, reliable and safety-conscious approach.

Responsibilities

• Carry out deliveries and collections safely and efficiently.
• Complete daily vehicle safety checks.
• Load and unload goods where required.
• Complete delivery paperwork and use handheld devices where applicable.
• Deliver excellent customer service.
• Comply with all road transport legislation and health & safety procedures.

Salary: £17.00 - £30.00 per hour (depending on licence category or assignment)

About the Role

Best Time Ltd is currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) and HGV Class 2 (Category C) Drivers on behalf of a number of established clients across the South of England.

We have a variety of assignments available, including temporary, ongoing, ad hoc and temp-to-perm opportunities, offering flexible working patterns to suit your availability.
