Proactive Personnel Ltd in the United Kingdom is currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for ongoing and ad hoc assignments across Chester and surrounding areas.

Shifts include day, night and weekend work with flexible patterns. Pay ranges from £15.00 to £25.00 per hour, with weekly pay and regular opportunities with reputable local employers. Ideal candidates will hold valid licences and CPC, with good knowledge of UK driving rules.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
• Valid Driver CPC.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good understanding of UK driving regulations.
• Reliable, professional and safety-focused.
• No more than 6 penalty points (no DR, DD or IN endorsements).

Responsibilities

• Completing deliveries and collections safely and efficiently
• Carrying out vehicle checks before each shift
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately
• Following all driver hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Delivering excellent customer service
