Job summary

Driver Hire Canterbury is seeking reliable Class 2 HGV drivers to support a range of clients across Canterbury, Margate, Dover and surrounding areas. This ongoing role offers flexible full-time or part-time hours with start times between 06:00 and 08:00, and weekly PAYE pay.

Regular work may lead to permanent opportunities with potential for HIAB/Moffett/ADR qualifications. Compensation ranges from £15 to £16.81 per hour, with holiday pay accrued.

Qualifications

• Cat C licence with Digital Tacho and CPC Card.
• Experience with Class 2 driving preferred.
• Full PPE and Sat Nav provided.

Responsibilities

• Start time between 0600-0800.
• Work across general haulage, retail distribution, food supply chains, building and more.
• Comfortable with trunking and multi-drop work in varying roles.

Class 2 HGV Driver (C) - Ongoing Work | Canterbury & Surrounding Areas

Pay: £15-£16.81 per hour (PAYE, paid weekly)

Schedule: Monday to Friday | Full-Time or Part-Time | Start Times: 06:00-08:00

Location: Canterbury, Margate, Dover, Folkestone + surrounding areas

Driver Hire Canterbury is looking for a reliable HGV Driver to support a range of clients across the region. This is a great opportunity for experienced Class 2 drivers seeking regular, flexible work with the option to go permanent.

Responsibilities of being a HGV Driver:

• Start time between 0600-0800
• Work in roles across various industries, including general haulage, retail distribution, food supply chains, building and more
• Comfortable with both trunking and multi-drop work, which can vary between roles

Requirements to be a Class 2 Driver:

• Cat C licence with Digital Tacho and CPC Card
• Previous commercial Class 2 driving experience preferred
• Full PPE and Sat Nav
