Job summary

E.ON is seeking an Installation Operative - HGV Crane and HGV to join our team in Rochdale. You will perform excavation work for LV service joints, erect and remove street lighting assets, and support with driving, deliveries and yard duties.

Key requirements include a current NRSWA LA 01-05 and 08, UK HGV Class II licence, NVQ Level 2 Highways Electrical Work, CPCS Lorry Loader, and a proactive approach to health and safety. Flexible hours may apply.

Qualifications

• Valid NRSWA LA 01-05 and 08 qualifications.
• Up-to-date UK HGV Class II driving licence.
• NVQ Level 2 Highways Electrical Work.
• CPCS Lorry Loader or equivalent.
• Good manual dexterity and safety awareness.
• Flexibility to work unsociable hours when required.

Responsibilities

• Excavate for joint holes, columns, signs and bollards and lay cabling.
• Install and decommission street lighting equipment and EV connections.
• Drive general company vehicles including HGV and operate lorry-mounted crane.
• Support on-site with delivery, yard duties and team tasks.
• Follow health, safety, environment and quality policies at all times.
• Mentor younger workers and ensure PPE usage and safety compliance.
