Job summary

E.ON UK is seeking an experienced Column Erector to join the PFI team in the Oldham and Rochdale area. You will carry out excavation work for LV service jointing, and erect and remove columns, signs, bollards, and support cable networks.

The role includes driving duties and yard support for E.ON Utility Solutions. Key qualifications include NRSWA LA01-02-05-08, HGV Class II, NVQ Level 2 in Highways Electrical Work, and CPCS Lorry Loader.

Qualifications

• NRSWA LA01-02-05-08 qualifications are essential.
• HGV Class II licence and CPCS Lorry Loader beneficial for site work.
• NVQ Level 2 in Highways Electrical Work is required or advantageous.
• CSCS/HERS safety qualifications improve on-site safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Remove or decommission assets as required and as directed on site.
• Install and decommission street lighting equipment and EV connections as needed.
• Operate and drive general company vehicles, including HGV where required.
• Operate lorry mounted crane and assist with cable runs and jointing works.
• Assist skilled operatives and follow site risk assessments and safety procedures.
