Job summary

E.ON UK Ltd in Milnrow is seeking a hands-on Field Operative to carry out excavation work for LV service jointing, install and decommission street lighting equipment, and support EV charging connections. You will also drive company vehicles, operate a lorry-mounted crane, and perform general yard duties on site.

You must hold NRSWA LA01, LA02-05, LA08, a UK HGV Class II licence, NVQ Level 2 in Highways Electrical Work, and CPCS Lorry Loader or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Current NRSWA LA01/02-05/08 and LA08.
• UK HGV Class II Driving Licence up to date.
• NVQ Level 2 Highways Electrical Work.
• CPCS Lorry Loader or equivalent.
• High manual dexterity and ability to work from instructions.
• Flexibility to work unsociable hours when required.

Responsibilities

• Undertake excavation work for LV service jointing and for street lighting, EV connections, and associated cable runs.
• Install and decommission street lighting equipment and EV connections.
• Drive company vehicles including HGV and operate lorry mounted crane.
• Support skilled operatives on site and mentor trainees as needed.
• Adhere to Health, Safety, Environment and Quality policies and procedures.
