Job summary

People Solutions is recruiting for HGV Class 2 Tipper Drivers in the Cumbernauld area. The role offers Day Shifts, Monday to Friday, with ongoing work and immediate starts available. Full training provided and weekly pay are included.

The ideal candidate will have a UK Cat C licence, CPC card, and Tachograph card, with a strong focus on safety, reliability and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid UK Category C driving licence.
• CPC qualification is required.
• Digital Tachograph card required.
• No more than six penalty points (for minor offences).
• Reliable, punctual and professional attitude expected.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Good understanding of road transport regulations and driver compliance.
• Ability to work safely and efficiently as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class 2 tipper vehicle to customer and site locations.
• Complete Tip deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload materials when required.
• Conduct daily vehicle safety checks and report defects.
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately and on time.
• Follow planned routes and delivery schedules.
• Adhere to road transport laws and health & safety procedures.
• Communicate effectively with transport planners, customers and site staff.

HGV CLASS 2 TIPPER DRIVER – Cumbernauld

People Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Tipper Drivers to join our client's growing transport operation based in Cumbernauld and the surrounding areas.

Earn £14.00 - £28.00 per hour | Monday to Friday Day Shifts | Weekly Pay | Ongoing Work | Immediate Starts Available | Full Training Provided | Newly Passed Drivers Welcome

This role would suit candidates with experience as an HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver, HGV Class 2 Driver, LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver, Tipper Driver, Rigid Driver, Lorry Driver, Construction Driver or Bulk Haulage Driver.

Day-to-Day Duties

As an HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver, your duties will include but not be limited to:

• Safely operating a Class 2 tipper vehicle to customer and site locations
• Completing tipper deliveries safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading materials where required
• Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks and reporting any defects
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately and on time
• Following planned routes and delivery schedules
• Adhering to all road transport legislation and health and safety procedures
• Communicating effectively with transport planners, customers and site staff
• Maintaining high standards of professionalism and customer service at all times

Essential Skills

To be successful as an HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver, you will need:

• A valid UK Category C Driving Licence
• A valid CPC Qualification Card
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no IN, DR, DD or CD endorsements)
• A reliable, professional and punctual attitude
• Good communication and customer service skills
• A good understanding of road transport legislation and driver compliance
• The ability to work safely and efficiently as part of a team

Desirable Experience

• Previous tipper driving experience
• Previous commercial Class 2 driving experience
• Experience within construction, aggregates or bulk haulage
• Customer‑facing delivery experience

Training Provided

• Industry‑related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
