Job summary

Mpa Recruitment is seeking reliable HGV Class 2 Tipper Drivers for regular work in the UK, with immediate starts available. You'll be responsible for safe tipping of materials to construction sites and quarries, following health and safety procedures.

The role offers full-time temporary to permanent prospects, weekly pay and a supportive team. A valid HGV Class 2 licence, Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card are required, along with prior tipper experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate an HGV Class 2 Tipper vehicle.
• Deliver and collect materials safely and efficiently.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects.

• Follow all site, health & safety and road safety procedures.
• Complete delivery and collection paperwork accurately.
• Maintain a clean and tidy vehicle.
• Provide a professional and courteous service to customers and site staff.
• Work efficiently to meet delivery schedules.

Hours:Monday to Friday 07;00-17;30.

The Role

As a Tipper Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation and tipping of materials to and from construction sites, quarries and other locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate an HGV Class 2 Tipper vehicle.
• Deliver and collect materials safely and efficiently.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects.
• Safely operate tipping equipment.
• Follow all site, health & safety and road safety procedures.
• Complete delivery and collection paperwork accurately.
• Maintain a clean and tidy vehicle.

Requirements

• ValidHGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• ValidDriver CPC.
• ValidDigital Tachograph Card.
• Previous tipper driving experience is preferred.
• Experience working on construction sites or in the aggregates industry is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of UK roads and driving regulations.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
• Strong commitment to health and safety.
