Job summary

Driver Hire Hull is seeking an HGV Class 2 Driver for a full‑time role based in Hull. You will operate a Class 2 vehicle, delivering timber and handling daytime shifts.

Work is Monday to Friday, 07:30–16:30 with no weekend work. Probation pay is £14.10/hour, rising to £14.72/hour after probation. A valid CPC Tachograph and UK licence are required, with no more than 6 points on the licence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Class 2 driving experience.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid CPC/Tachograph and UK driving licence.
• No more than 6 points on licence.

Responsibilities

• Drive HGV Class 2 vehicle for timber deliveries.
• Carry out timber deliveries to customer sites.
• Day shift with a fixed schedule (Mon–Fri).
• Follow safety procedures and traffic regulations.
