Job summary

Howarth Timber Group in Bury St Edmunds is seeking an HGV Class 2 Driver to deliver timber and building materials to trades and retailers. You will complete paperwork, maintain safety standards and provide professional customer service on every delivery.

The role requires a valid HGV Class 2 licence with CPC, be 21 or older, and have at least 12 months of driving experience with tachograph responsibilities. Full-time, Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 driving licence with Driver Qualification Card/Driver CPC.
• Aged 21+ (insurance requirement).
• 12 months+ HGV driving experience, including 90 days tachograph in last 180 days.

Responsibilities

• Load, secure and deliver goods safely and professionally.
• Complete paperwork at delivery/collection.
• Operate in line with training and company policies.
