Job summary

The Staffing Network Ltd are recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 Skip Driver to join a busy waste management operation based in Harlow. The role offers regular weekday hours and optional Saturday overtime.

You will deliver and collect skips, ensure safe transport and compliant paperwork, and provide professional customer service on every shift.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous skip driving experience is essential.
• Good knowledge of UK driver hours and road safety regulations.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, collect, and transport skips to and from commercial and residential customer sites.
• Safely transport and dispose of waste in line with company procedures and environmental regulations.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects.
• Complete all delivery and collection paperwork accurately.
• Provide a professional and courteous service to customers.
• Follow all road transport legislation, driver hours regulations, and health & safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and roadworthy vehicle at all times.

New HGV Driver Bonus £150 after 4 weeks work based on 40 hours minimum each week worked - Total of 160 hours or 20 shifts

The Staffing Network are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Skip Driver to join a busy waste management operation based in Harlow.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional driver with previous skip vehicle experience looking for ongoing, full-time work with regular weekday hours and optional Saturday overtime.
