Job summary

Smart Solutions is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Skip Driver to join a busy waste management operation in Rochford. The role offers full-time, weekday hours with optional Saturday overtime and a competitive hourly rate.

Responsibilities include delivering and collecting skips, transporting waste safely, performing vehicle checks, and maintaining paperwork. A professional, customer-focused approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as an HGV Class 2 Skip Driver.
• Experience operating skip vehicles and waste transport.

About the Role:

Smart Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Skip Driver to join a busy waste management operation based in Rochford.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional driver with previous skip vehicle experience looking for ongoing, full-time work with regular weekday hours and optional Saturday overtime.

Key Responsibilities

• . Deliver, collect, and transport skips to and from commercial and residential customer sites.
• . Safely transport and dispose of waste in line with company procedures and environmental regulations.
• . Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects.
• . Complete all delivery and collection paperwork accurately.
• . Provide a professional and courteous service to customers.
• . Follow all road transport legislation, driver hours regulations, and health & safety procedures.
• . Maintain a clean and roadworthy vehicle at all times.

What We Offer?

• . £18.50 per hour.
• . Monday to Friday working pattern.
