Job summary

Smart Solutions is recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 Skip Driver to join a busy waste management operation based in London. This is a full-time, ongoing role with regular hours and optional Saturday overtime.

You will deliver and collect skips from commercial and residential sites, ensure safety checks, complete paperwork, and provide a courteous service while complying with road transport regulations. Competitive pay and weekly payroll offered.

Qualifications

• Experience as a HGV Class 2 skip driver.
• Ability to operate skip vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Strong understanding of waste management processes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect skips from commercial and residential sites.
• Transport waste safely and dispose of materials per procedures and regulations.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report defects.
• Complete delivery/collection paperwork accurately.
• Provide a professional and courteous service to customers.
• Comply with road transport hours regulations and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, presentable vehicle.

About the Role:

Smart Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Skip Driver to join a busy waste management operation based in London.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional driver with previous skip vehicle experience looking for ongoing, full-time work with optional Saturday overtime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver and collect skips from commercial and residential customer sites.
• Transport waste safely and dispose of materials in line with company procedures and environmental regulations.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects.
• Complete all delivery and collection paperwork accurately.
• Provide a professional and courteous service to customers.
• Comply with all road transport legislation, driver hours regulations, and health & safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and presentable vehicle.

What We Offer?

• £19.00 per hour.
• Monday to Friday working pattern.
• Day shifts: 6:30am – 5:15pm.
• Optional Saturday overtime (6:30am – 1:00pm).
• Weekly pay.
