Job summary

The Best Connection Group Limited in Milton Keynes is seeking HGV Class 2 drivers for a temp-to-perm role. You will deliver fresh, ambient and frozen goods, and work night or day shifts with UK-wide routes.

This position offers ongoing work through 2026, weekly PAYE pay, CPC training, online payslips, a contributory pension, and optional personal accident cover. Nights start between 02:00 and 05:00.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV UK Class 2 (Category C) licence is essential.
• In-date CPC and Digi card required.
• Comfortable driving on highways and working in physically demanding environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage delivery process from site to customer for fresh, ambient and frozen products.
• Manual handling of cages.
• Ensure loads are safe and secure for transit.
• Complete delivery devices or systems as required.
• Newly Passed drivers accepted.
• Maximum of 6 points on licence accepted (no DD/ DR/ DG / BA/ CD/ TT99 offences).

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Drivers with their global logistics and supply chain company that operates both freight management and contract logistics. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with excellent earning potential and long-term prospects.

About the Role:

HGV Class 2 Driver - Main duties and requirements are:

• Managing the delivery process from site to customer of fresh, ambient and frozen products
• Manual handling of cages
• Ensuring your load is safe and secure
• Completion of delivery device
• Newly Passed accepted
• Maximum 6 points accepted ( No DD/ DR/DG / BA/CD/TT99 offences)

Working Hours:

• 5 shifts on, 3 shifts off
• Night shifts start times vary between 02:00 and 05:00

Pay:

• Day Standard rate of £18.00 per hour
• Night Standard rate of £20.00 per hour

What We're Looking For:

• Valid HGV UK Class 2 (Category C) Licence
• In-date CPC and Digi card
• Comfortable working on highways and in physically demanding environments
