Job summary

The Best Connection is seeking HGV Class 2 drivers for a temp-to-perm opportunity in Milton Keynes. Pay rates are £18 per hour days and £20 per hour nights with UK-wide shifts.

Applicants must hold a valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence, in-date CPC and Digi card, with the ability to handle physical duties and work on busy highways. Perks include weekly PAYE pay and pension options.

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Drivers with their global logistics and supply chain company that operates both freight management and contract logistics. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with excellent earning potential and long-term prospects.

About the Role:

HGV Class 2 Driver - Main duties and requirements are:

• Managing the delivery process from site to customer of fresh, ambient and frozen products
• Manual handling of cages
• Ensuring your load is safe and secure
• Completion of delivery device
• Newly Passed accepted
• Maximum 6 points accepted ( No DD/ DR/DG / BA/CD/TT99 offences)

Working Hours:

• 5 shifts on, 3 shifts off
• Night shifts start times vary between 02:00 and 05:00

Pay:

• Day Standard rate of £18.00 per hour
• Night Standard rate of £20.00 per hour

What We're Looking For:

• Valid HGV UK Class 2 (Category C) Licence
• In-date CPC and Digi card
• Comfortable working on highways and in physically demanding environments
