Job summary

HG Recruitment are recruiting for a Class 2 Driver in Southampton to support EVRi deliveries. Start times range from 02:00 to 12:00, part-time Friday to Monday. Duties include multi-drop deliveries with safety and accuracy, loading/unloading, and strict compliance with WTD regulations.

We offer regular ongoing work with a pension scheme, 24/7 driver portal access, and on‑site support from driver trainers. Prior multi-drop experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 licence (Category C).
• Valid CPC and digital tachograph card.
• Recent multi-drop or similar driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out multi-drop deliveries across local routes.
• Conduct thorough vehicle checks before and after each shift.
• Load and unload goods safely, ensuring accuracy and care of all items.
• Adhere to driving hours, tachograph, and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Maintain excellent communication with the transport team and customers.
• Complete all delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
• Represent the company professionally at all times.

As a Class 2 Multi-Drop Day Driver, you'll play a key role in delivering goods safely and efficiently across the Southampton area. You'll ensure timely, accurate, and professional delivery to multiple customer locations while maintaining high standards of safety and service.
