Job summary

Pure Staff Driving in Southampton is recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our client's distribution operation. You will perform multi-drop deliveries of chilled and refrigerated goods with early starts between 03:00 and 06:00, handling loads safely and using a refrigerated vehicle.

This role requires a valid UK Class 2 licence, Driver CPC, tachograph card, and a professional, safety-focused approach. You will be joining a supportive team with weekly PAYE payments and ongoing work.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 2 licence and CPC.
• Digital Tachograph Card held and up-to-date.
• Previous HGV Class 2 driving experience essential.
• No more than 6 penalty points on licence.

HGV Class 2 Driver - SouthamptonPure Staff are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to work with one of our valued clients based in Southampton. The role entails delivering chilled and refrigerated goods to distributors. This role does require high levels of heavy lifting and morning starts. The Role

As a HGV Class 2 Driver , you will be responsible for completing multi-drop work to customers across your designated route. Start times tend to be between 0300 and 0600am. This role involves delivering refrigerated goods therefore candidates must be comfortable carrying out some handball, load securing and multi-drop delivery with a refrigerated vehicle .This is a customer-facing role, requiring a professional attitude and excellent communication skills when representing both Pure Staff and our client.

Pay Rates

• £17 per hour (with holiday pay accrued separately)
• £19.05 per hour with holiday pay rolled-up

What We're Looking For

• A valid UK Category C / Class 2 Licence
• A valid Driver CPC / DQCA valid
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous HGV Class 2 driving experience
• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence
• Confidence with strapping and securing loads
