HG Recruitment are recruiting experienced Class 2 drivers in Burton upon Trent. Duties include multi-drop deliveries with load securing, customer service and safe driving practices. Fixed shifts Tue-Sat, with two-person lift requirements and overnight/ weekend premiums.

Rates are PAYE with accrued holiday pay; typical weekly and annual earnings are indicated, with a supportive team and driver portal to access briefs, payslips and time data.

Competenze

• HGV Class 2 licence – minimum 6 months.
• Minimum 6 months multidrop experience.
• Digi Tacho & CPC cards.
• Maximum 6 points for minor endorsements.
• Knowledge of driver regulations (WTD & Driver’s Hours).
• Good national geographical awareness.
• Possess excellent customer facing awareness skills.
• Good timekeeper and able to work unsupervised.
• Enthusiastic and reliable with a commitment to delivering first class customer service.
• Must have good communication skills and a flexible can-do attitude to work.

• Adhering to safe working practices to always ensure the safety of yourself and others.
• Securing load of the trailer to ensure products are safely secured to minimise chances of damage.
• Always provide excellent customer service and to take ownership of customer issues on delivery.
• HGV Class 2 drivers must carry out multi-drop deliveries within the delivery window in a safe manner.
• Deliveries are home deliveries so there will be some heavy lifting
• You will be working alongside a porter as the deliveries will be a 2 man lift
• Fixed shifts of Tuesday to Saturday
• Be aware of any vehicle defects and bring to the attention of Transport Office as necessary
• Possess excellent customer facing awareness skills
• Be a good timekeeper and be able to work unsupervised
• Possess an Enthusiastic and reliable attitude towards delivering first class customer service
• Must have good communication skills and a flexible can-do attitude to work

RATES:

• Days: £15.77 - £23.55 Rates are PAYE with accrued holiday pay
• Nights: From £19.63 - £27.47 Rates are PAYE with accrued holiday pay
