Pure Staff are recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to support deliveries in Stoke-on-Trent, with a modern fleet and a customer-focused transport operation. You will work on local and national routes and maintain professional standards at all times.

Typical duties include completing deliveries, operating tail lifts, and ensuring accurate POD and documentation. Optional rolled-up holiday pay is available and there is potential for permanent positions.

Formación

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Strong understanding of Driver Hours and Working Time Regulations.

Salary: GBP18 - GBP20.17 per hour

HGV Class 2 Driver - Multi Drop Deliveries - Monday to Friday - Stoke-on-Trent

Earn up to £22.41 per hour | Early Starts | Ongoing Work | Rolled-Up Holiday Pay Available

Pure Staff are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to support one of our long-standing customers based in Stoke-on-Trent. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional HGV Class 2 Driver looking for ongoing work with a respected food distribution business operating a modern fleet and an established transport operation.

Pay Rates

PAYE

• Monday to Friday: £18.00 per hour
• Saturday: £19.00 per hour
• Sunday / Bank Holiday: £20.00 per hour

PAYE with Rolled-Up Holiday Pay (Optional)

• Monday to Friday: £20.17 per hour
• Saturday: £21.29 per hour
• Sunday / Bank Holiday: £22.41 per hour

The Role

As a HGV Class 2 Driver, you will be delivering goods to customers across local and national routes. This is a customer-facing position requiring excellent communication and professional standards at all times.

Typical duties include:

• Completing between 10 and 12 deliveries and collections per shift
• Delivering to stores and commercial customer locations
• Operating tail lift equipment safely
• Completing POD and delivery documentation accurately
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks
• Providing excellent customer service on delivery sites
• Ensuring compliance with all driving legislation and company procedures

This HGV Class 2 Driver role offers a varied working day with a mixture of local and longer-distance deliveries within the logistics and distribution sector.

Shift Pattern

• Monday to Friday
• Start times between 04:00 and 07:00
• Typical shifts between 8 and 12 hours
• Overtime opportunities available
• Ongoing work throughout the year

Requirements

To be considered for this HGV Class 2 Driver position, you must have:

• Valid Class 2 (Category C / LGV C) Licence
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Strong understanding of Driver Hours and Working Time Regulations
