Job summary

Red-Cat-Recruitment is hiring a delivery driver in the Ellesmere Port area to transport timber and building materials to trade and retail customers. You will operate a HIAB crane safely, provide on-site customer service, and perform daily vehicle checks in a team-focused environment.

Weekly pay for temp-to-perm opportunities, with training provided for HIAB use where needed. Working hours typically Mon-Fri with optional Saturdays, starting early morning.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (C) licence.
• CPC qualification and Digi Tacho card.
• No more than 6 points on licence.
• Good knowledge of UK roads and driving regulations.

• Deliver timber and building materials to trade and retail customers.
• Operate a HIAB crane safely and efficiently (full training provided if required).
• Provide excellent customer service on site and at point of delivery.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and maintain high standards.
• Work alongside the transport and yard teams to ensure deliveries are completed efficiently.

Job description

Salary: GBP15.5 - GBP17.37 per hour + Weekly Pay

Contract: Temporary, with a potential for temp to perm contracts

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday, average 6:30am to 4:00pm/ 07:30 - 5:00pm
• Alternate Saturdays available, 7:30am to 11:30am
