Job summary

Driver Hire Uxbridge are recruiting HGV Class 2 Dustcart / RCV Drivers for our client, a leading Waste Management Service Centre based in Harefield UB9. TEMPORARY TO PERMANENT POSITIONS AVAILABLE. £43,002.70 per annum + £2500 yearly performance bonus.

Monday to Friday 4am starts | 9.5 hour shifts. Rota includes 1 Saturday a month. Applicants require UK Category C Manual Licence, CPC and TACHO, max 6 points (no DR/DD/TT/IN/MS90), aged 25+ for insurance, and Class 2 / Refuse Collection Vehicles

Qualifications

• Professional with excellent customer service skills.
• Aged 25+ for insurance purposes.
• Experience in waste operations is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive Class 2 dustcarts across London and the Home Counties.
• Follow planned collection routes and schedules.
• Maintain accurate driver logs and compliance records.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Comply with road traffic laws, drivers' hours and company procedures.
• Work effectively with loaders and the transport team.
• Provide a professional and considerate service to customers.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and professional vehicle.
