Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is recruiting a Class 2 Dustcart Driver for a Wembley-based waste management company. You will drive a Class 2 refuse vehicle on planned routes, collect household and commercial waste, and work with loaders to ensure on-time collections.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 06:00–14:00, with weekly pay and a path to permanent employment after a 12-week qualifying period. New drivers are welcome, with full UK Category C licence, Digi card, and CPC card required.

Qualifications

• Full UK Category C (Class 2) driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Valid Digital Tachograph (Digi) Card.
• Aged 21 years or over (for insurance purposes).
• Maximum of 6 penalty points on your licence.
• Newly qualified drivers are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Driving a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle safely and responsibly.
• Collecting household and commercial waste on planned routes.
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects.
• Following all road transport, health & safety, and environmental regulations.
• Providing a professional and courteous service while working in residential and commercial areas.
• Completing all required paperwork and complying with company procedures.

We are currently recruiting Class 2 Dustcart Drivers on behalf of one of the UK’s leading waste management companies based in Wembley. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a full-time, ongoing role with the potential to become a permanent employee after a successful 12-week qualifying period.

Whether you’re an experienced HGV Class 2 driver or have recently passed your test, we’d love to hear from you.

The Role

As a Class 2 Dustcart Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient collection of commercial and household waste across designated routes in the local area. You will work closely with a team of loaders, ensuring collections are completed safely, professionally, and on schedule.
