Job summary

QS Recruitment Ltd in Market Harborough requires an HGV Class 2 driver for ongoing work with a leading recycling client. You will drive a recycling refuse truck, collecting items and supporting a loader team to complete daily tasks.

Temporary contract with potential for permanent placement. Typical hours Tue–Fri around 06:30 start, ~40 hours/week; immediate start available and UK applicants only.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Cat C, Class 2 entitlement.
• Valid digital tachograph card.
• Valid CPC card.
• No more than 6 points on licence.
• No DD/DR/TT convictions.

Responsibilities

• Operate recycling refuse truck in the Leicestershire area.
• Collect household, commercial or bulk recycling items daily.
• Work with loaders to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
• Adhere to driving regulations and company procedures.

HGV Class 2 driving work available in the Leicestershire area.

Are you looking for your next long term HGV Driving role? We have regular and ongoing work available within the are and we want to hear from you!

Supporting our client who are a leading recycling company, you will play a vital role in the day to day running of the operation. Going out on the recycling refuse truck vehicle, you will collect various types of recycling, this could be household, commercial or bulk items before taking it to the designated destination. You will work with a crew of loaders to get the work done in a professional manner.

This position does offer the opportunity to become a permanent member if a role arises. New pass drivers will be considered for this role.

Duration: Ongoing and regular work weekly with an immediate start.

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: You will be paid £15.17 per hour for this driving role.Holiday is accrued up to 28 days per year, pro rata.

Working Hours: Tuesday to Friday work from 06:30am. You will usually work around 40 hours per week.
