Job summary

QS Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver for a busy Refuse and Recycling operation in the UK. Regular Monday to Friday work with early finish, driving on residential and commercial routes, and assisting loaders as required.

You will operate in a team with up to three loaders, with ongoing temp work and potential for permanent employment. The role starts early with a 6:00am shift and finishes around 2:00pm, no visa sponsorship offered.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Driving Licence with Category C entitlement.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Valid Driver CPC Card.
• Previous refuse driving experience is advantageous.
• Maximum 6 penalty points.
• Reliable and hardworking approach.
• Comfortable working outdoors and carrying out physical duties.

Responsibilities

• Drive refuse collection vehicles on residential and commercial routes.
• Assist loaders with collections and loading when needed.
• Follow schedules with early starts and typical finish around 2:00pm.
• Work as part of a team and maintain safe operation of the vehicle.

Job Description

Are you looking for regular Monday to Friday driving work with an early finish? We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers to join a busy Refuse and Recycling operation.

This is a great opportunity for drivers looking for ongoing work, consistent weekday hours and the potential to move into a permanent position.

You’ll be responsible for driving refuse collection vehicles across residential and commercial routes, carrying out waste and recycling collections throughout the day.

You’ll work as part of a team alongside up to three loaders, who will support with the collections. Drivers will also be required to assist with loading when necessary, so being willing to get involved and work as part of the team is essential.

Duration: Ongoing temp work is available on a reliable basis.
