Job summary

The Best Connection Group Limited is seeking Class 1 (C+E) drivers in the UK for a temp-to-perm role within a leading logistics company. You will handle curtainsider trailers, complete timed deliveries, and manage paperwork while maintaining load security.

Shifts are typically Mon–Fri with start times around 17:00–19:00. The rate is £18.00 per hour with £20.00 overtime after 45 hours, and CPC training plus other perks are available.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Driving Licence.
• Commitment to shifts/rotas.
• Ability to work safely alone or with a team.
• Time management and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Curtainsider trailer duties with 3-5 drops and timed deliveries.
• Pre-loaded vehicles handling and vehicle checks.
• Complete delivery paperwork and ensure load security.

About the Role

Class 1 (C+E) - Main duties and requirements are:

• Curtainsider trailers
• 3-5 drops with timed deliveries
• Pre loaded vehicles

Ensuring your load is safe and secure

Completion of delivery paperwork

Maximum 6 points accepted ( No DD/ DR offences)

Vehicle checks

Working Hours

• 17:00pm - 19:00pm starts
• Mon - Fri shifts

Pay

£18.00 per hour

£20.00 per hour overtime

(after 45 hours)
