Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting for HGV Class 2 (C) Drivers for ongoing work with our logistics and supply chain operations in the UK. Temp-to-perm opportunities are available for the right drivers, offering long-term prospects and good earning potential.

Key duties include driving pre-loaded vehicles, securing loads, completing delivery paperwork and performing vehicle checks. Minimum 8-hour shifts on weekdays, with a commitment to rostering and safe solo work.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
• Commitment to shifts/rotas.
• Ability to work safely alone.
• Time management and punctuality.
• Good understanding of UK drivers' hours.

Responsibilities

• Pre-loaded vehicles.
• Ensure load is safe and secure including strapping down loads.
• Complete delivery paperwork.
• Vehicle checks.
