Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd is currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client in the Southampton area for multiple HGV Driver roles. You will operate across Class 1 and Class 2 shifts, with days, twilights and night patterns available.

Locations: Southampton SO16. Role involves moving palletised parcels, loading/unloading, and professional customer interaction. A valid UK licence, DCPC and Tachograph card are required, with restrictions on points and WTD compliance.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence for the relevant licence.
• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Experience on the relevant vehicle required.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units.
• Drivers will be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle.
• Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.
