Job summary

QS Recruitment is seeking a delivery driver in Leicestershire to join a temp-to-perm role. You will start from the Coalville RDC and operate a 15T vehicle for multi-drop deliveries across Leicestershire. The job is physically demanding with heavy lifting and requires a full UK driving licence with Cat C, digi and CPC cards, and a clean licence (no more than six points).

Hours are Monday to Friday with a 06:00 start. The contract is temporary with the potential for permanent placement.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Cat C qualification is required.
• Digi and CPC cards are required.
• No more than 6 points on your licence.
• Immediate start is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills are essential.
• Good customer-facing skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Drive 15T vehicle from Coalville RDC to multi-drop deliveries in Leicestershire.
• Complete deliveries of caged goods with physical lifting.
• Work Monday to Friday, 06:00 start; adhere to route timings and safety.

Are you looking for your next driving role working full time and with the view to gain a permanent contract? Then we want to hear from you. You will be working on a temp to perm contract for our client who are a food and drinks wholesaler. Leaving the Coalville RDC, you will drive the 15T vehicle to complete multi-drop deliveries of caged goods throughout the Leicestershire area. This is a physically demanding role that can involve heavy lifting so you must have a good level of fitness.

Duration: This is an excellent opportunity to secure a job with ongoing job security working towards a permanent contract.

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: This driving role pays a competitive £16.30 per hour. Holiday pay is accrued up to 28 days per year, pro rata.

Working Hours: This is a Monday to Friday position starting from 06:00.
