Job summary

QS Recruitment is seeking HGV Class 2 drivers for a leading waste and recycling company in the UK. The role is day shift with start times between 05:00 and 07:00, Monday to Friday, with 8–10 hour days.

Open to UK applicants, with temporary contract and potential progression to permanent after a qualifying period. Hourly pay up to £20 umbrella or £16 PAYE plus 28 days holiday pro rata. Closing date 2026-09-20.

Qualifications

• Requires HGV C entitlement.
• Full UK CPC certification.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safe collection and delivery of waste materials.

We are actively recruiting HGV Class 2 drivers for a leading name in commercial waste and recycling.
This role is working on a day shift and you will be expected to ensure the safe collection and delivery of waste materials.
All drivers will be responsible for carrying out vehicle and safety checks in line with company policies thoroughly and promptly.

Location: Netherfield and Colwick, Nottinghamshire

Duration: This role is temporary with permanent positions available after a qualifying period.

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: Earn up to £20 per hour via umbrella!Alternatively, we can pay £16 per hour PAYE with 28 days of holiday pro rata.Please note we are unable to offer visa sponsorships

Working Hours: The role offers Monday to Friday working, and you can expect start times to be between 0500 and 0700. Shifts typically last 8 to 10 hours per day.

Experience & Qualifications
