Bauer Media Outdoor in St Helens is seeking a Construction Operative to join our growing team. You will work in a two-person crew breaking up ground and installing digital units and bus shelters, with occasional wider travel and night shifts.

The role requires a physical, outdoors-based workload. You’ll need a clean Class 2 HGV licence, NRSWA accreditation, and CDM/RAMS knowledge. We offer a competitive salary and strong benefits package including an annual bonus.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with ≤3 points.
• HGV Class 2 licence held.
• CPCS A36 Lorry loader hook (novice or above).
• CPCS Slinger accreditation.
• CAT use competency.
• NRSWA accreditation to Operative standard.
• CDM knowledge and RAMS awareness.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Safe use of power tools (hydraulic breakers, disc saws).

Responsibilities

• Transport digital units from depot to site using a HGV truck.
• Break ground and install digital units.
• Replace component-level parts on digital units.
• Follow Construction Design and Management regulations 2015.
• Ensure traffic management and site safety with segregation measures.
• Follow Health and Safety policy and site risk assessments.
• Use and look after tools and equipment on site.
