Bauer Media Outdoor UK is recruiting a Construction Operative to join our team in St Helens. You will drive a HGV Class 2 vehicle, break ground, install and replace digital units, and work on outdoor site builds across local areas and some travel.

The role requires NRSWA accreditation, CDM knowledge, and the ability to work at height with power tools. Competitive salary, bonus, and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence with no more than 3 points.
• Class 2 HGV licence required.
• CPCS A36 Lorry loader hook (novice or above).
• CPCS Slinger.
• Competency in CAT use.
• NRSWA accreditation to Operative standard.
• CDM knowledge.
• Excavation and sub-structure knowledge.
• RAMS familiarity.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
• Competency in using power tools such as hydraulic breakers and disc saws.

Responsibilities

• Transport digital units from the depot to the installation site via a HGV truck.
• Break ground and install digital units.
• Replace component level parts on digital units.
• Follow the Construction Design and Management regulations 2015.
• Ensure traffic management is in place before starting work with segregation/prevention of unauthorised access.
• Follow Health and Safety policy and site-specific risk assessments and method statements.
• Safely use and maintain tools and equipment on site.
