Bauer Media Outdoor in the North West is hiring Construction Operatives to join a two-person crew in St Helens. The role involves breaking ground, replacing and installing digital units, and training to drive a HGV Class 2 truck.

You must be physically capable, willing to learn, and work across sites with occasional nights and payments for travel and lodging. We offer a competitive salary of £35,900 with potential overtime, a yearly bonus, 33 days holiday, pension matched to 8%, life insurance,

Qualifications

• Full driving licence with no more than 3 points.
• CPCS Slinger.
• Competency in CAT use.
• NRSWA accreditation to Operative standard.
• Excavation and sub-structure knowledge.
• Understanding of RAMS.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
• Competency in use of power tools such as hydraulic breakers and disc saws.

Responsibilities

• Transport digital units from the depot to the installation site via a HGV truck (after training).
• Break ground and install digital units.
• Replace component level parts on digital units.
• Work with your crew partner to manage workload within timescales and with other local teams.
• Follow the Construction Design and Management regulations 2015.
• Ensure traffic management and site segregation is in place.
• Follow Health and Safety policy and site risk assessments.
