Job summary

AWD online in Cranleigh, Surrey, is seeking an HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team. The role blends professional driving with removals work and customer-facing service, delivering safe, efficient moves.

You will drive to client addresses, assist with packing and loading, complete paperwork and uphold high safety and customer standards. The position offers full-time or part-time hours with overtime and weekend shifts, and requires a valid HGV Class 2 license, Driver CPC and Digi Tacho Card, plus

Qualifications

• Holds a valid HGV Class 2 / Category C driving licence
• Up-to-date Driver CPC and Digi Tacho Card
• Previous HGV driving experience is preferred
• Physically fit and able to pack, carry and load household items

Responsibilities

• Drive vehicle and crew to client addresses for household and commercial removals
• Support packing, carrying, loading and unloading goods
• Dismantle and reassemble furniture where required
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects
• Ensure loads are safely secured and paperwork is accurate
• Communicate politely and professionally with customers during moves
• Comply with company procedures and safety regulations
