Job summary

Driver Hire Leeds West is recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers to work with a wide range of established customers across Leeds and the surrounding area. We offer flexible opportunities to suit your schedule, including full-time, part-time or occasional shifts.

Among the rates, PAYE options start at £14.40 per hour with holiday pay, rising with overtime; HIAB and Moffett work can attract higher rates. Regular weekly pay and a friendly local team complete the package.

Qualifications

• A valid Category C (Class 2) driving licence.
• A current Driver CPC qualification.
• A Digital Tachograph Card.
• At least 12 months' HGV Class 2 driving experience.
• No more than 6 penalty points for minor motoring offences.
• No DR, DD or T99 endorsements.
• Safety boots and hi-vis clothing.
• A professional, reliable approach with good communication skills.

Job description

Driver Hire Leeds West is recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers to work with a wide range of established customers across Leeds and the surrounding area.

We have regular assignments with builders' merchants, general haulage companies, manufacturers and multi-drop delivery businesses, offering a variety of work to suit your experience and preferences.

Whether you're looking for full-time hours, part-time work or occasional shifts around other commitments, we have flexible opportunities available throughout the week.

Pay Rates

• £14.40 per hour - PAYE with accrued holiday pay - £17.20 Overtime
• £16.14 per hour - PAYE Advanced (holiday pay included in your hourly rate) - £19.28 Overtime

Drivers with HIAB or Moffett qualifications are encouraged to apply, as many of our customers require these skills and we regularly offer higher rates of pay for HIAB and Moffett assignments.
