Job summary

Driver Hire Leeds East is recruiting 3 Class 2 Drivers to service clients in the Leeds area. The role offers flexible, varied shifts with multi-drop work, builders' merchant work, and ADR/HIAB opportunities.

A CAT C licence, Digi Tachograph, CPC, and valid HIAB/ADR credentials are required, with 12 months driving experience and up to 6 points allowed. Weekly PAYE payments are provided, with a minimum of 8 hours per day.

Qualifications

• CAT C Licence and Digi Tachograph with CPC
• Valid HIAB accreditation
• Valid ADR accreditation
• 12 months experience driving a CAT C vehicle
• Up to 6 penalty points and clear of any previous driving bans

Responsibilities

• Carry out Class 2 driver duties including multi-drop routes across Leeds area
• Work across ranges of shifts including 3–15 drops per day
• Support van and 7.5 Tonne work as required by clients

As a growing business we are currently recruiting 3 x Class 2 Drivers to service our clients in the Leeds area.

A typical Class 2 Driver can expect to be offered a variety of shifts such as:

• Class 2 Multi drop – Ranges from 3 – 15 drops a day dependant on client
• Class 2 Builders merchant work – Curtain siders
• Class 2 SKIP work – Hook and RORO
• Class 2 Drayman work – Single and 2 man team work
• Class 2 ADR – Gas and Waste management
• 7.5 Tonne – Builders merchant work
• 7.5 Tonne – Plumbing merchant work

If you are happy to drive smaller vehicles we also have plenty of VAN work available.

Requirements:

• CAT C Licence
• DIGI TACHO and CPC Card
• If performing a HIAB role you must have a Valid HIAB accreditation
• If performing a ADR role you must have a Valid ADR accreditation
• If performing a HIAB role you must have a Valid HIAB accreditation
• 12 Months experience driving a CAT C vehicle
• We can accept up to 6 penalty points on licence and be clear of any previous driving bans

PAY:

• Weekly payment by BACS on a Friday each week
• PAYE payments only with the option to manage holiday pay either accrued or paid on a weekly basis.
• Minimum pay of 8 hours per day regardless if you finish your work earlier
