Job summary

We Are Workforce Ltd in Raunds (Wellingborough) are recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 drivers for full-time, temp-to-perm roles at our depot. Duties include multi-drop deliveries, inter-depot and RDC runs, and ensuring on-time orders while maintaining safety.

Shifts run Friday to Tuesday with 3am start; day and night rates apply, with overtime after 47.5 hours. Immediate starts after assessment and induction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months Class 1 driving experience.
• UK Driving Licence with Cat C+E entitlement.
• Digi & CPC card with no more than 6 points.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Immediate start available.

Responsibilities

• Drive within the WTD and EU regs.
• Prepare vehicles for delivery.
• Complete vehicle checks.
• Refuel vehicles.
• Multi-drop deliveries.
• Interdepot and RDC deliveries.
• Manual handling of trolleys.
• Maintain high levels of customer service and fulfill orders on time.

HGV 1 Driver - Raunds (Wellingborough)

We are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 1 drivers forfull timetemp to perm roles in our depot inRaunds (Wellingborough)The role consists of deliveries to NDCs, RDCs and trunking work. MMID is part of a well-established and well known international dairy company with modern and well looked after fleet.

Immediate starts for successful candidatesafter passing assessment and induction.

Shifts patterns available

• Friday to Tuesday 3am start time

Day pay rates:

• Monday – Friday £17.30 (overtime after 47.5hrs £19.46)
• Saturday £19.46
• Sunday and Bank Holidays £25.95

Nights pay rates:

• Monday – Friday £19.77 (overtime after 47.5hrs £21.92)
• Saturday £21.92
• Sunday and Bank Holidays £28.41

30-minute break deducted per shift only!

Day to day duties will include the following:

• Driving with-in the WTD and EU regs and rules.
• Prepping vehicles for delivery.
• Completing vehicles checks.
• Refueling vehicles.
• Multi drop deliveries.
• Interdepot and RDC deliveries.
• Manual Handling trolleys
• The Driver must ensure that the highest levels of customer service are maintained on the round and orders are fulfilled on time and in full.

As a person you will need the following qualities and experience:

• At least 6 Months of Class one driving experience required.
• Excellent Communication skills.
• UK Driving Licence with a Cat C+E entitlement.
• Digi & CPC Card No more than 6 points for minor offences.
