Qualifikationen

• Valid HGV Class 2 licence with at least 1 year experience.
• DCPC card valid and up to date.
• No more than 6 points on licence.
• Previous commercial driving experience.

Aufgaben

• Complete daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness.
• Report vehicle defects and follow company protocols.
• Assist with loading/unloading.
• Report customer complaints to Transport team.
• Ensure compliance with current EU road transport regulations.
• Secure freight safely and avoid overload.
• Carry out on-site duties when not driving.

Bonus: Performance‑related bonus of up to £2,000 per year, paid quarterly

Key Responsibilities

• Complete daily vehicle checks in line with company procedures to ensure roadworthiness
• Report vehicle defects immediately, following company protocols
• Assist with loading and unloading company vehicles
• Report customer complaints promptly to the Transport team
• Ensure compliance with all current EU road transport regulations
• Secure freight safely for transit and avoid overloading by weight or capacity
• Carry out additional on‑site duties when not driving

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Required

• Multi‑drop experience
• Valid HGV/LGV Class 2 licence (minimum 1 year)
• Valid DCPC cardDigital tachograph card
• No more than 6 points on licence
• Previous commercial driving experience
