Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting a Class 2 Driver for our client based in Sherburn-in-Elmet (LS25), a leading supplier of carpets across the North of England. You will start early with 06:00 shifts and deliver to commercial customers across the region, with a guaranteed minimum of 10 hours pay per day.

This is a physically demanding role; overtime is paid after 8 hours and there is potential for a temp-to-perm opportunity in 2026. Weekly pay and a pension scheme are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence must be held.
• Driver CPC qualification card required.
• Digital Tachograph card required.
• Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred.
• Must be able to pass a driving assessment.

Responsibilities

• Deliveries to commercial customers across the region.
• Handle heavy rolls of carpet as part of daily duties.
• Work Monday to Friday with 06:00 starts; overtime paid after 8 hours.
