Job summary

Jewson Scunthorpe is seeking a motivated HGV Class 2 driver to join our delivery team. You will transport building materials to customers, operate a crane where required, and represent the company with professionalism.

A valid HGV Class 2 licence, CPC and Digi Tachograph card are required; HIAB training is provided. The role offers stable hours, paid holidays, pension, and opportunities for progression within STARK Building Materials UK.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• CPC Card and Digi Tachograph card.
• Experience with multidrop is handy but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver building materials to customers safely and professionally.
• Load and unload goods; operate the crane when required.
• Assist teammates and support site operations as needed.

What To Expect

As a customer delivery driver and the face of the company, we’ll need you to safely deliver building materials to our customers with a professional and friendly approach. Every day is different, from the number of drops you’ll do, to where you will be delivering. You’ll be loading and unloading, operating the crane and supporting team members when needed, offering you job satisfaction in an incredibly varied role.

What are we looking for?

• A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• A valid CPC Card and Digi Tachograph card
• Whilst multidrop experience is handy, it’s not a necessity
