Job summary

KPI RECRUITING LTD is recruiting a HGV Class 2 Driver for a client based near Plymouth (PL6 8LH). The role covers nationwide depot deliveries, with ad hoc or shift work and options for morning, afternoon or night shifts. Ongoing and temp-to-perm opportunities, with average 8-hour shifts, year-round.

PAYE rates are £16.36/h days, £17.29/h twilight, £17.49/h nights (holiday pay included). Unloading may be required via pallet truck.

Qualifications

• Valid up-to-date HGV Class 2 licence, CPC and Digi card, and HIAB licence.
• No IN, DD or DR endorsements on licence.
• Hi-vis and safety boots required.

Responsibilities

• Drive HGV Class 2 vehicle to depots across the UK.
• May unload using pallet truck.
• Average run consists of 2–3 depots across the country.

Plymouth PL6 8LH . Our client is a leading provider in the delivery industry within the UK, with state-of-the-art vehicles and services provided! Our client is looking to add to their pool of HGV Class 2 drivers as they continue to grow and expand their team.

Job description for a HGV Class 2 Driver:

• AD HOC or Shift work available
• Offering morning, afternoon, or Night shifts!
• Ongoing and temp-to-perm opportunities
• Average of 8-hour shifts
• Year-round positions
• Opportunity for overtime
• Drivers’ benefits include: weekly pay, additional shifts within KPI driving contacts available, use of state-of-the-art vehicles.

Your role will include driving the HGV Class 2 vehicle across the country, delivering to different Depots across the UK. You may be asked to unload. This can be done via pallet truck. The average run is 2 to 3 depots.

Rates for a HGV Class 2 Driver(PAYE) –

£16.36 per hour days

£17.29 per hour twilight

£17.49 per hour nights

Please note that the pay rates are inclusive of accrued holiday pay.

The ideal candidate for a HGV Class 2 Driver will need the following:

• All up-to-date driving licence, CPC and Digi, along with HIAB licence
• No IN, DD, DR endorsements on licence
• Hi-vis and safety boots
