Job summary

Pertemps are currently recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver for a large and prestigious company based in Rochester, Kent. This is a temp-to-perm role with regular weekday work, a 7:00am start and no weekend shifts, offering good work‑life balance.

This role involves driving an HGV Class 2 vehicle, completing deliveries safely, carrying out daily vehicle checks and ensuring paperwork is accurate, with excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good knowledge of driver regulations.

Responsibilities

• Drive an HGV Class 2 (Category C) vehicle.
• Complete deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks.
• Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Comply with Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and road transport regulations.

Pay Rate: £15.63 per hour – weekly pay PAYE via Pertemps

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am start – NO WEEKENDS

Contract: Temp to Perm
