Job summary

Pertemps Maidstone is recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join a large, reputable company in Rochester, Kent. The role offers a regular Monday to Friday schedule with no weekend work and weekly pay via PAYE. This Temp to Perm opportunity aims for a long-term contract with potential progression.

Key duties include safe multi-drop deliveries, daily vehicle checks and accurate paperwork, while delivering excellent customer service and adhering to driver hours and regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good knowledge of driver regulations.

Responsibilities

• Driving an HGV Class 2 (Category C) vehicle.
• Completing deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks.
• Ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately.
• Providing excellent customer service.
• Complying with Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and road transport regulations.
