We are currently recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver for our client based in Paddock Wood, Kent.

• Location: Paddock Wood, Kent
• Pay Rate: £18.00 per hour (PAYE)
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
• No weekend work
• Contract: Ongoing temporary role with a temp-to-perm opportunity

The Role

As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for operating a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle carrying out local deliveries and collections across Kent and the surrounding areas. This role is ideal for an experienced Class 2 Driver, HGV Driver, LGV Driver, Cat C Driver, Category C Driver, Rigid Driver, or Delivery Driver seeking regular weekday work. Alongside driving duties, the successful HGV Class 2 Driver will also support yard operations when required.

Duties

• Local deliveries and collections (depot-to-depot)
• Driving a Class 2 / Category C vehicle
• Assisting with general yard duties during quieter periods
• Completing daily vehicle checks

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous experience as an HGV Class 2 Driver, Class 2 Driver, LGV Driver, Category C Driver, or Cat C Driver
• Positive attitude and willingness to assist with yard duties
